Ariana Grande Brings Out Cynthia Erivo For Wicked: For Good Duet In London

Ariana Grande has surprised fans in London after bringing out Cynthia Erivo for a ‘mesmerizing’ duet on the second night of her UK tour.

The 33-year-old was performing at the 02 in London when she brought out her “Wicked” co-star Cynthia Erivo. Fans had noticed the “Harriet” actress sat in the VIP section of the arena at the start of the concert.

Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo Perform A Wicked Duet In London

Cynthia Erivo made a surprise appearance at Ariana Grande’s “Eternal Sunshine” concert in London with a special performance of “For Good” from “Wicked: For Good”.

The pair also performed their rendition of “Get Happy / Happy Days Are Here Again,” which they previously sang together during “NBC’s Wicked: One Wonderful Night,” a special leading up to the release of the second film.

The duo played Elphaba and Glinda in the movie adaptation of the classic stage musical, earning both Academy Award nominations. This marks the first time the pair have been on stage together since they wrapped the world promotional tour for “Wicked: For Good”.

The song was an extra treat for fans of the musical, as Grande doesn’t usually include songs from “Wicked” on her setlist.

An onlooker told The Sun: “The crowd absolutely lost their minds when Cynthia came on stage for the Wicked reunion.

“Cynthia and Ariana couldn’t stop beaming as they were reunited to sing “For Good,” the audience member added.

Ariana Grande ‘Overwhelmed’ With Emotion In London

Ariana’s London tour dates come after she announced she would be taking a break away from the spotlight once the tour concludes. In a statement to PEOPLE, her rep said she was looking “forward to finishing the tour and ending it on a high note, both healthily and happily.”

“This tour has been a beautiful experience for her. She loves her fans and has loved every minute of this tour so much,” her rep added.

She told London on the opening night of the “Eternal Sunshine” tour’s UK leg that “I feel overwhelmed right now. I’m so grateful to be doing this with you all.

“As you know, London is my final stop on this tour. And I just wanted to say I’m going to savor every last second of these last ten shows with you guys. As this is one of my favorite places in the world,” she told the packed-out arena.

She continued that she lived in London to make the “Wicked” films, “so it will always have a special place in my heart.

“I want to say thank you to my fans for being the most incredible, loving beings and a presence in my life. I’ll always cherish you,” she gushed.
