The season 6 premiere of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” left no crumbs as fan-favorites Heather Gay, Whitney Rose, Mary Cosby, Meredith Marks, Angie Katsanevas, Bronwyn Newport, and friend of the cast, Britani Bateman, all returned. While Lisa Barlow is also back, she skipped out on the girls’ trip chaos in the first episode.
As fans tuned in, so did celebrated singer and actress Demi Lovato. In fact, she made a guest appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” alongside Katsanevas, after the season 6 premiere, proving that she is a huge fan of the Bravo series.
Demi Lovato Proves She’s a RHOSLC Superfan
GettyDemi Lovato appeared as a guest on Andy Cohen’s “Watch What Happens Live” and confirmed that she is just as obsessed with the “Real Housewives” franchise, particularly “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.”
During their conversation, Cohen learned that Lovato binged all five seasons of RHOSLC in the past year. What truly stunned him, though, was when the “Fast” singer admitted that she watched all of the seasons a second time so that her husband, Jordan “Jutes” Lutes, could get hooked on the show too.
“I love to watch TV with my husband,” Lovato said when clarifying why she watched the series twice this past year. “The first time I watched it was with my best friends. I fell in love with the show. I was like, ‘Okay, this is really good. My husband is going to love this.'”
Lovato told her husband that she knew it wasn’t “his vibe,” but to “hear me out” before deciding against it. “He watched it and he loved the drama. It was amazing,” she added.
Lovato Gives Her Take on the Women of RHOSLC
During the segment, Lovato was asked a series of questions by Cohen regarding the women of RHOSLC. She clearly proved that she might outrank a few fans when she gave her hot takes about the Utah-based ladies.
When Cohen asked the songstress which RHOSLC star made her “laugh the most” after watching all the seasons, she shared, “I have to go with Mary. Mary makes me cackle.” Next, Lovato was asked about her first impressions of Newport, who joined the show last season. “Beautiful gowns,” Lovato joked as she referenced a viral Aretha Franklin interview, before adding, “I think she’s a great addition to the show.”
Lovato continued to prove that she knew everything about the ladies as Cohen then asked, “Which of Lisa’s fallen friendships are you most upset about? Angie, Bronwyn, or Whitney?” She answered, “I think I have to say Bronwyn because Bronwyn really viewed her as a close friend, and it made me sad when they had a falling out.” Additionally, Lovato, who was seated next to Katsanevas, shared how much she appreciated the reality star’s friendship with Cosby.
And, of course, Lovato came prepared with her very own “Real Housewives” tagline.
“I’m always serving, and my favorite dish is a mug,” she shared to the camera.
