Time flies in Port Charles, and one “General Hospital” icon has a major reason to celebrate.
The longtime soap star recently reflected on an incredible career milestone, sharing a heartfelt message of gratitude alongside a look back at the early days of her time on “GH.”
The milestone also had co-stars and longtime “General Hospital” fans celebrating, with some fans reminiscing about watching the beloved character more than four decades ago.

Kristina Wagner Celebrates 42 Years on ‘General Hospital’
“GH” legend Kristina Wagner, who portrays Felicia Scorpio, recently took to social media to celebrate a significant milestone in her daytime career.
Alongside a photo taken early on in her career, the actress wrote, “On this day 42 years ago I debuted on General Hospital in the role of Felicia Cummings. (aka- Texas girl, ranch owner and Aztec princess. Go figure.)”
She continued, “This photo was taken at ABC photo studio a few days before I started my first day on the set. I post this because I want to express the gratitude for the life I’ve had. It’s been a lot of everything and I’m not done. And I miss Aretha!”
The milestone quickly caught the attention of Wagner’s “General Hospital” co-stars and fans, who joined in to celebrate her decades in Port Charles.

Finola Hughes, who portrays Anna Devane, wrote, “Beauty. Beauty. Beauty. Inside and out.”

Josh Kelly, who portrays Felicia’s stepson, Cody Bell, on “GH,” added, “Momma! you look the same!”
Fans also joined the celebration, with many reflecting on their memories of Wagner and Felicia over the years.
“Yep, we love you happy anniversary,” one fan wrote.
Another viewer revealed just how invested they once were in Felicia and Frisco Jones, writing, “I was obsessed with F & F on another level … I mailed in my Cabbage Patch kids birth certificates requesting their name to be changed to Frisco & Felicia Jones.”
Another longtime viewer added, “I remember it well. I watched GH daily back in the 80s and you were one of my absolute favorites. Hard to believe it was 42 years ago.”

As longtime “GH” fans will remember, Felicia and Frisco Jones were among some of Port Charles’ most notable supercouples of the 1980s.
The pair shared two daughters, Maxie Jones and Georgia Jones. However, Felicia’s second husband, Mac Scorpio, primarily raised the girls.
Frisco was played by Jack Wagner. Kristina and Jack were married in real life from 1993 to 2006 and shared two sons.
Their younger son passed away in 2022. The former couple created the Harrison Wagner Scholarship Fund in his honor to help young men on the road to recovery and sobriety.
