It’s now been more than a month since the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
After exchanging vows during their fairytale Madison Square Garden ceremony, the newlyweds are now easing back into normal life.
With Kelce in the midst of spring training for the upcoming NFL season, rumors are rife that Swift will be unveiling some new music soon. In the meantime, she was recently spotted enjoying a solo night out in London.
‘So Excited’ To Be Husband and Wife
GettyAs the two settle into their not-so-ordinary lives as husband and wife, a source tells People that both spouses are over the moon as they begin their lives together.
“They’re both just so excited that they’re husband and wife now,” the source tells the magazine. “Their relationship feels even more special.”
‘Really Grateful’
According to People’s source, now that the wedding has taken place, both are looking forward to what lies ahead.
“They’re both always working, creating or thinking about what comes next. And they love living like this,” the source says.
“They both feel really grateful for everything they have,” the source adds. “They’re very happy.”
‘The Best Night of My Life’
While in the midst of Kansas City Chiefs training camp earlier this week, Kelce broke his silence about the nuptials when speaking with reporters during a press conference.
“It was a fun offseason, man, wedding was the best night of my life and I appreciate everyone who came out and celebrated and had fun with us,” he said.
“That’s about all I really got from that night. It was a crazy night. It was full of a lot of celebration,” he continued before bringing the discussing back to the Chiefs. “But it’s football, baby!” he added.
Why MSG?
During that chat with journalists, Kelce also explained why he and his new bride had zeroed in on Madison Square Garden as the venue to hold their wedding.
“MSG, man,” Kelce declared.
“You know, I always told myself I’d go for a playoff game when the Knicks were rocking. Then my wife went when I was stuck in minicamp, so I didn’t get my opportunity to go then,” he explained. “So it’s kind of cool to be able to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue, the Mecca of all sports venues, being able to get married in there.”
He thanked the people in charge who allowed them to pull it all off.
“I can’t thank the owners of MSG for allowing us to get the opportunity to do that, knowing we wanted a private event and everything, so it was perfect,” he said, adding one key detail: “And the AC was perfect, man, that’s the best part.”
New Album in the Works?
Meanwhile, the Swiftie rumor mill has been churning with speculation that a new album is on the way after a series of subtle changes in some of her Spotify song listings hinted at another “Taylor’s Version” release.
In the meantime, Swift can still bask in the success of her latest LP, “The Life of a Showgirl.”
Weeks after her wedding, the album set a new chart record when her single “Elizabeth Taylor” landed in the top 10 on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart, making her the first artist ever to land four simultaneous singles in the top 10 of that chart.
