Hewitt shared a photo of Hathaway from the premiere of “The End of Oak Street” to her Stories on Instagram and tagged Hathaway in the supportive message.
Hewitt wrote, “Anne Hathaway, you are perfection.”
The “I Know What You Did Last Summer” star went on to praise Hathaway for being able to balance her pregnancy with a very busy career right now.
“This woman has been working sooo hard,” Hewitt continued. “Handling it all with such grace and by the way looks incredible!”
Hewitt then went on to address the attention being paid to Hathaway’s changing body. She asked why this should even be a topic of public discussion simply because she’s pregnant.
Hewitt wrote, “And now we are going to comment on her body while pregnant. Please stop talking about women’s bodies. Please leave women alone.”
Anne Hathaway Addresses Her ‘Fake’ Baby Bump
It’s wild to think that people are out there commenting on her baby bump, claiming that it looks fake. Hathaway sees those comments, and she hasn’t been afraid to have a little fun with the attention surrounding her pregnancy.
The Oscar-winning actress recently shared a video on her Instagram page, and she appeared to confirm that fans were seeing a real baby bump.
Hathaway captioned the video, “Fake hair, real bump 😘 ✌️🦖🔥☀️🦕😅.”
Hathaway has been turning heads recently with her maternity style on the red carpet. During promotional appearances for “The End of Oak Street” and “The Odyssey,” she has shown off her baby bump in several eye-catching looks.
The actress is expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman.
