Hallmark star Janel Parrish just gave fans a little glimpse into what she’s been up to following her recent split from “Dancing with the Stars” pro Sasha Farber, and honestly, it’s pretty adorable.
Earlier today (Tuesday, August 11, 2026), Parrish took to Instagram to share a sweet photo of herself curled up on the sofa with her two rescue dogs, Kleo and Moose.
The actress kept the caption simple, writing only, “The kids 🤍”
Yep, if there’s one thing this photo makes clear, it’s that Parrish has some very cute company at home.
Fans React to Janel Parrish’s Sweet Photo
The comments on Parrish’s post quickly filled with love for the actress and her two adorable dogs. There were tons of heart and love-themed emoji.
And a few fans simply wrote “so cute” and “cuties,” while another gushed, “Best Mama EVER ❤️ Best kiddos EVER 🥹”
Of course, some followers were also curious about Farber. One person asked, “What happened to Sasha” and another replied, “They Split.” A third person popped in to ask, “yeah can u make a public comment so we can stop speculating… 🤔”
Someone else took a different route and used the opportunity to check in on Parrish directly, asking, “How you doing this week Janel?”
It seems like fans are not only paying attention to Parrish’s adorable “kids,” but also curious about what happened. We love that some are making sure she’s doing okay following the changes in her personal life.
Janel Parrish & Sasha Farber Break-Up
GettyParrish competed on Season 19 of “Dancing with the Stars” in 2014, when she was partnered with Val Chmerkovskiy. Farber was also part of the season, but he competed as a member of the pro troupe rather than as a partner. The two had known each other for years before reconnecting romantically.
The pair went public with their relationship in April 2026, which means the breakup news came just three months after they confirmed their romance.
While fans may still have questions about what happened, neither Parrish nor Farber has publicly provided details about the reason for the split. For now, Parrish appears to be keeping things positive and spending some time with her dogs.
And let’s be real, Kleo and Moose seem like pretty great company.
Parrish Has Built an Impressive Hallmark Career
Parrish is probably best known for playing Mona Vanderwaal on “Pretty Little Liars” and Margot Covey in Netflix’s “To All the Boys” film series. But Hallmark fans have gotten to see a very different side of the actress over the years.
Her Hallmark movies include:
- “Holly & Ivy” (2020) with Jeremy Jordan and Marisol Nichols.
- “Right in Front of Me” (2021) with Marco Grazzini.
- “Coyote Creek Christmas” (2021) with Ryan Paevey.
- “Family History Mysteries: Buried Past” (2023) with Niall Matter.
- “Never Been Chris’d” (2023) with Tyler Hynes.
- “Haunted Wedding” (2024) with Dominic Sherwood.
- “Sugarplummed” (2024) with Maggie Lawson.
Most recently she starred alongside Chris McNally in “Two for Tee” (2026). Parrish plays a pottery artist named Tee who reconnects with her family’s cultural roots while working to help save a community center, according to Hallmark.
It seems like Parrish has found a pretty great gig with Hallmark, especially considering how many different characters she has gotten to play for the network.
She Also Made It to the Finale of ‘The Masked Singer’
Parrish has also shown off her musical talents outside of her acting career.
In 2023, she competed on Season 10 of “The Masked Singer” as Gazelle. She made it all the way to the finale before finishing in third place and revealing herself to be the actress behind the elaborate costume.
That was another opportunity for fans to see a side of Parrish they may not have expected, particularly because she had to keep her identity hidden throughout the competition.
Her run as Gazelle also gave Parrish the opportunity to showcase her singing, something she has spoken positively about since appearing on the show.
Yep, there’s clearly more to Parrish than her best-known acting roles.
Janel Parrish Has More Projects on the Way
GettyNow fans are probably wondering what comes next for Parrish. Well, good news; there’s already more on the horizon.
According to IMDb, the actress currently has three projects listed in post-production: the dramas “Sydney vs. Sean” and “Bound for Glory,” as well as the comedy “Stockholm Squad.”
So while fans may understandably be curious about what happened between Parrish and Farber, there’s also plenty happening in her professional life. Between her Hallmark movies, past television work and those three projects in post-production, she has a lot to look forward to.
Honestly, that makes the timing of this latest Instagram post kind of perfect. Janel Parrish may be navigating a new chapter personally, but she also has plenty of reasons to stay busy; and two very adorable rescue dogs ready to keep her company.
