Beloved Hallmark star Kimberley Sustad has hilariously welcomed back Jesse Metcalfe to the network ahead of the premiere of their film “Absolutely Devoted to You”. Sustad channeled her inner Metcalfe by tackling one of his infamous looks, and that’s not all, as she got fans hyped to see them on-screen together.

In a video posted to Hallmark’s Instagram, Sustad revealed that Metcalfe has what she called a “professional smoulder.” “I don’t know if he would say that, but I am definitely going to say that,” she expressed in the footage.
Then the “Christmas at the Catnip Café” star went on to reveal what Metcalfe’s signature smoulder really looked like by doing an impression of it. Clips of Metcalfe flashed across the video, proving that Sustad knows what she is talking about, and it was hilarious.
“I don’t have the smoulder but Jesse certainly does, and I think you are going to see a lot in this movie, so welcome back Jesse,” the actress spilled.
Fans wasted no time hitting up the comments to credit Sustad for her impression of the “John Tucker Must Die” hunk. “The Queen. So glad she will be back on our screens! Xo @kimberleysustad … Bet there are some good lip syncs from this shoot,” a fan gushed, while a different fan added, “She’s good! 👌🤩”

Several fans are beyond excited to see Metcalfe and Sustad on-screen in “Absolutely Devoted to You”, which is the first movie they have worked on together.

In another social media post promoting the movie, Sustad captured a video of Metcalfe literally sleeping on the floor in blue jeans and a white tank top. The footage is set to the song “Only Time” by Enya.
“Boy band work is hard…“Absolutely Devoted To You” this Saturday…@realjessemetcalfe @hallmarkchannel @hallmarkplus,” she joked in her caption, which was perfect.
Metcalfe hopped into the comments with a witty reply to the video. “You need to make me a collaborator on this? This is hilarious!” he declared, taking Sustad’s humor all in stride.
Fans also got in on the fun, jumping into the comments to make jokes about the boy band era and Metcalfe. “That boy band choreography got him…😴” declared a fan. One fan said, “Hey …that choreo work is NO JOKE! 😅😂☠️🤣🤣”
In “Absolutely Devoted To You” Metcalfe plays Derrick, the lead singer of a 90s boy band that Sustad’s character, Kaitlin, is trying to get back together for a television reunion appearance. In true Hallmark fashion, sparks fly between the duo as conflict arises and tension mounts.
The film marks Metcalfe’s return to Hallmark after a five-year hiatus. Metcalfe last appeared on the network in the original series “Chesapeake Shores”, which he left at the beginning of Season 5.
