How did Ashley Williams end up hiding underneath Nikki DeLoach‘s jacket? As it turns out, the answer is every bit as funny as the video itself.
The Hallmark favorites have been getting ready to bring their infectious energy to the upcoming Dance Party to End ALZ, and clearly, they’re having plenty of fun while preparing for a good cause. Williams and DeLoach have now given fans a behind-the-scenes look, and judging by the reactions from their fellow Hallmark stars, their friends are having just as much fun with the hilarious setup as they are.
The original video begins with DeLoach lying down in a zip-up jacket and lip-syncing along to Taylor Swift’s “…Ready for It?” when suddenly, she unzips her jacket to reveal Williams underneath. She pops her head out then takes over the background vocals as the two sing their hearts out together.

Williams & DeLoach Have Their Fellow Hallmark Stars in Stitches
“BTS of making yesterdays video. I can’t watch this back without wheezing,” Williams wrote in the caption of her Sept. 2 Instagram reel, featuring a clip of Williams and DeLoach trying to figure out how they can both fit into one jacket.
“There is no better partner than @nikdeoach. See you at the pajama party!!” she added. “We love you!”
“Omg haha yay!!! The bts I didn’t know I was longing for 😂😂😂,” Hallmark alum Danica McKellar commented.
Hunter King wrote, “I’ve watched this five times already 😂.”
“This is the best,” Ben Rosenbaum added.

Williams & DeLoach Have Been Friends for Over 20 Years
GettyWilliams and DeLoach’s bond grew stronger when Williams’ mother passed away from dementia in 2016, then only two years later, DeLoach’s father was diagnosed with the disease. Williams’ sister and Hallmark star Kimberly Williams-Paisley started the Dance Party to End ALZ in 2017 to raise money and awareness for research through the Alzheimer’s Association in honor of their mother.
“I met Ashley years ago at an acting studio,” DeLoach said, per the Alzheimer’s Association. “But the thing that connected us on a very deep level was our shared experience of having parents diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and dementia.”
The two became Alzheimer’s Association Celebrity Champions and teamed up to raise money through the Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
“We bonded over how we can fight this disease,” Williams said. “It was Nikki’s idea to join forces for Walk to End Alzheimer’s — she always says we’re better together.”
“Having a friend like Ashley in my life is like having a sister you can call on your best and worst days, when your heart is singing and also when it’s breaking,” DeLoach said. “It’s knowing that you never have to be alone inside anything that you are going through.”
This year, Williams and DeLoach are co-hosting the eighth annual Dance Party to End ALZ on Sunday, Sept. 13.
