“Real Housewives of Potomac” star Stacey Rusch is finally addressing the rumors about her relationship with Monique Samuels‘ ex-husband and former NFL player Chris Samuels in the sneak peek of season 10, episode 5, airing Sunday, November 2.
Is Stacey Friends With Monique?
“I haven’t met her. Maybe one day I will, but I haven’t,” Stacey admitted to “RHOP” castmate Gizelle Bryant.
The second episode of season 10 already previewed Monique’s return to “RHOP“ in a friend role. That sneak peek also showed housewife Keiarna Stewart talking to Monique, who seemed to be surprised that she and Stacey “didn’t know each other,” since the latter “was dating Chris.”
The same preview then cut to Stacey, who claimed, “Chris called me.”
Monique was also shown stating, “there’s two people who are a part of this who are complete liars.”
How Does Stacey Know Chris?
The episode 5 preview began with Ashley Darby confronting Stacey about a publicist friend of hers “who works with a lot of athletes” claiming that Stacey reached out to help her “get close to” Chris.
“I adore Chris Samuels,” Stacey responded. “He is a great man, a great father. We are good friends.”
“How did that friendship come to be?” Ashley asked.
Stacey claimed that they bonded over “divorce” and they also “have a lot of friends in common.”
When Gizelle and her relationship was later brought into the conversation, Stacey ended the speculation by referencing her reconciliation with ex-husband Thiemo Rusch. “Listen and listen good,” Stacey fired back at Ashley. “I’m back with my husband.”
“You can’t expose something that’s not true,” said Stacey to a producer in one of her confessionals. “I’m gonna live my best life in that nameless robe and have a great time. I’m not thinking about Gizelle or Ashley.”
“Y’all want me to be somebody else so bad, and you just can’t accept who I am. It’s unbelievable,” Stacey addressed the entire group.
“I can relate to that, Stacey,” Angel Massie chimed in.

Stacey’s Reaction
During an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” on October 26, Stacey spoke about how the cast’s speculation on her relationship with Chris made her feel.
Reading a viewer’s question, Andy asked, “Stacey, what exactly is the truth about you and Chris Samuels, and were you expecting the info to be brought up in the group?”
“I wasn’t expecting that,” Stacey said. “I know Chris socially, and he’s a great guy. So, I was completely floored that I was sort of, like, guilty by association. Just because you know someone doesn’t mean that you’re dating them. It’s ridiculous.”
