“The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys” wrapped season 3 with plenty of unfinished business, but it remains unclear whether viewers will see what happens next.
Bravo has not announced a season 4 renewal for the reality series. The uncertainty comes as Kristi McBee has publicly suggested that she’s ready for her family to step away from the spotlight.
Season 3 concluded on August 17 with several major developments. Alli McBee acknowledged that “there needs to be a change” in her marriage to Jesse McBee, while the family decided to “cut ties” with Galyna Saltskova. Viewers also watched the fallout from Steven McBee Jr.’s split from Allie Eklund continue.
Now, the biggest unanswered question may be whether the McBees want to return at all.
Kristi McBee Says ‘It’s Time for My Family to Enjoy Our Lives’
Bravo renewed “The McBee Dynasty” for season 3 on October 15, 2025, nearly four months after season 2 premiered. That timeline means the lack of an immediate season 4 announcement doesn’t necessarily indicate the show’s fate.
However, Kristi raised questions about the family’s future when she responded to criticism surrounding Steven Jr. and the family.
“My family and I truly appreciate all of the love and support from the ones that have been loyal, kind and have shown grace,” Kristi wrote in a TikTok comment, according to a screenshot shared by the “Roxanne and Shantel” podcast hosts.
Kristi went on to criticize what she described as a “relentless smear campaign” against Steven Jr. by his ex-girlfriends, Calah Jackson and Eklund, as well as negative comments directed at other family members.
“I never needed this or wanted this and it’s time for my family to enjoy our lives and be out of the public eye,” she continued. “A & C need to find another ride to hop on cause this one is over! But again much love to our supporters!”
Steven McBee Jr. Calls Watching Season 3 ‘Bittersweet’
Steven Jr. has also been navigating the aftermath of his relationship with Eklund, which became a major storyline during season 3.
The two split in April after dating for approximately six months. Eklund later released text messages after saying Steven Jr. had falsely accused her of cheating.
“I didn’t have any other option at that point,” Eklund told Decider. “I had to respond and prove that his accusations were false.”
Steven Jr., meanwhile, described watching the season as “bittersweet.”
“Obviously, hindsight is 20/20,” he told Decider. “You know, it’s a tough watch because at the time, I was very, very happy. I thought I’d found the person I was going to be with forever. I still think the world of her and her family. I absolutely adore her family.”
His dating life also drew attention earlier in the season when viewers learned he had created a document listing qualities he wanted in a “good wife.”
After Jackson and Eklund criticized him online, Steven Jr. defended the list on Facebook.
“I stand by that document,” he wrote. “I don’t want to casually date. I don’t want to waste time with people that don’t live the lifestyle I want to live, that don’t have the same morals and character traits I’m looking for and I try to live myself. It doesn’t make someone a bad person if they don’t have what I’m looking for, it just doesn’t make them for me.”
Meanwhile, as Entertainment Now previously reported, Kristi defended her son against Allie. “We all got played by her. Doesn’t everyone see how she knew to act the complete opposite of Calah? She knew to play me like I was her best friend,” she wrote. “We all thought this was real. We didn’t know we literally had a paid actress on the show.”
For now, season 4 of “The McBee Dynasty” remains unconfirmed.
