Creativity is going to be put to the test for the remaining designers on “Project Runway” Season 22 tonight. For this next challenge on “Project Runway” 2026, the designers will have to transform paper towels into high-fashion runway looks. The “Project Runway” judges — Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia, Law Roach, and Tyra Banks — will also put the designers on the spot after asking each of them who they think is the weakest designer left in the competition. The show has had many homes, from Bravo to Lifetime, but now it airs and streams on a few other networks. Who gets eliminated on “Project Runway” tonight? Viva la Fashion on ‘Project Runway’
Last week on “Project Runway” Season 22, we started the night off by finding out the results from the NFL team challenge. It was Andriy and Chloe sent home.
We then shifted to the next challenge, which was a head-to-head battle between designers. Heidi chose names out of the button bag, and that designer got to choose their opponent. That opponent got to choose the animal they would use as their muse. The drama was high, but in the end the judges got to pick the winner of each head-to-head battle. In the end, Anna and Jude had the best looks of the night, with Jude being picked as the winner.
Since Bobby & Elizabeth and Naheim & Jeffrey had split decisions, they were all safe for the night. Jude, Anna, and Joseph won in unanimous votes, which meant Bi, Aaron, and Bryan were up for elimination! We find out those results tonight before heading into a new week of challenges, which has the designers creating looks from paper towels.

Week 5 Begins
DisneyWe go back to last week’s results. The judges made their decision, as Bi and Bryan are in. That means Aaron Potts has been eliminated tonight on “Project Runway” Season 22.
New Challenge
The designers are back on the runway. Heidi joins them, and for this week’s challenge, they will be working with Viva paper towels! They have to create a look that includes a separate, which is completely made out of paper towels. The design should also be a night out on the town look. They will have time tonight to experiment in the workroom with the paper towels and dying. This is a two-day challenge, and they’ll have $300 for fabrics. The winning designer will not only get immunity for next week, but they will also get $20,000 from Viva.
We are now in the workroom. The designers will have one hour to work on dye testing these paper towels. Naheim is very excited, as he thinks his look is looking like denim. The time runs out for the night, so dye testing is complete on “Project Runway” Season 22.
Day 1 Begins
The next day arrives. The designers are back in the workroom. Christian Siriano comes in to check out their ideas. He is worried that Anna’s look might be too crafty-looking. Elizabeth does avant-garde, so they are thinking this challenge is perfect for her.
Joseph talks about Law’s comments last week and him saying Joseph is being arrogant. He says it’s not arrogance, but being confident in who he is. Fashion has been a safe space for him. He does seem to be making the same type of look, which Christian calls him out on.
For Jeffrey, Christian said it’s beautiful and very couture. Christian tells Bryan he needs to give the judges a wow moment. His last few looks have been less exciting. He tells Bobby that her dying is great, but the silhouette needs to match it.
Christian tells Naheim that the look might be too cool, too laid back. It’s not for his girls to go out on the town. Naheim says it’s not for Christian’s girls, but for his girl, who is cool and lit.
Anna needs to pivot, and she is not going to have much done for Day 1. Then Bryan and Bi get into it, as Bi jokes that Bryan’s look looks like a salad. Joseph is second-guessing himself about doing another jacket. He said he is slipping back into that insecure, dark space.
Day 2 Is Here
The designers are working on their looks. Christian comes in with the models. He tells Jude the pants aren’t doing it for him, but Jude wants to trust his skills. Then he sees Bi’s pants, and he thinks they are fabulous.
Christian thinks Naheim’s denim-like paper towels are just like denim, and he’s blown away. Lots of feedback for these designers, as he is giving them more and more work to do.
Runway Day on ‘Project Runway’
It’s officially runway day on “Project Runway” 2026. Christian is in the workroom as he brings in Paige DeSorbo and Hannah Berner. They are just there for some comic relief. They take a look at all of the designs and give their feedback. Christian jokes that they are just there for support and not guest judges as they give some wild feedback!
The time runs out as the designers head to the runway. Backstage, we have some issues, as Bryan’s dress rips at the bottom and he has to make some adjustments and cuts.
Time for the show. The judges tonight are Heidi, Law, Tyra, and guest judge Willy Chavarria. Christian is also joining them for the runway show. The judges are definitely blown away with some of these looks. They are confused about whether the looks are fabric or paper towels.
Results on ‘Project Runway’ Season 22
The designers are back on the runway. Before they get to the judging, Heidi wants to know who they all think are the weakest designer left. Anna says herself, but then Bobby. Jude says Bryan, and Joseph says Elizabeth. The rest of the designers all say Joseph. He defends himself, but then Law calls him out and says this is the Joseph McRae show and he is over it. He is bashing Joseph, but is he not supposed to defend himself? There is some tension there, and who knows why. Law does not like him.
