With more than two dozen Hallmark movies to her name, Nikki DeLoach has shared the screen with quite a few hunky co-stars, from Brennan Elliott to Warren Christie to Andrew Walker (who’s been in a whopping eight movies with her).
But there are still some Hallmark hunks DeLoach has yet to be paired with. During one of Hallmark Channel’s 25th birthday media events in early August 2026, the actress told Decider she’s got her eye on a couple of guys with whom she’d love to film a meet-cute and more.
Nikki DeLoach & Niall Matter Are Clearly Eager to Work With Each Other
When Decider asked DeLoach which Hallmark stars she’d love to film a movie with, she said, “I’ve never worked with Niall Matter. I’d love to work with Niall. Wes Brown, I haven’t had a chance to work with (either).”
Serendipitously, when Decider asked Matter the same question, he replied, “I’d love the chance to work with Nikki DeLoach.”
Interestingly, he was standing with Brown and his 2025 “We Met in December” co-star, Autumn Reeser, who exclaimed, “You just did a movie!”
Matter replied, “Yeah, but I want to star opposite her,” and Brown chimed in, “Yeah, like, not just at lunch. Like, in a scene!” Brown added, “Thank you, stepbrother,” and gave Matter a high-five.
We’re not exactly sure what all that was about — did DeLoach stop by the set of “Nothing But Love,” Matter’s movie with Ashley Williams that premieres on August 29? Or could she make a cameo in December 5’s “A Grand Biltmore Christmas,” in which Matter stars with Holland Roden, with a confirmed cameo from Brown?
Whatever the case, we’re paging Hallmark casting about finding a whole movie for DeLoach and Matter to co-star in together — and so is DeLoach. When she saw the video of her and Matter naming each other as ideal future co-stars, she excitedly commented, “Omggggggggggg yes please!!!!”
Other Hallmark Leading Ladies Named Their Ideal Future Co-Stars, Too
GettyDeLoach wasn’t the only one who got to weigh in on which Hallmark fan-favorites she hopes to star with next. Rachel Boston told Decider, “Jonathan Bennett and I are dreaming something up together.”
The twosome have been close friends for nearly two decades, and did co-star in a 2012 indie movie called “Holiday High School Reunion,” but have yet to star together in a Hallmark rom-com!
Lacey Chabert also named Bennett as a possible future co-star, noting that they co-starred in her first Hallmark project, 2010’s “Elevator Girl.” When Chabert’s current “Paris is Always a Good Idea” co-star Scott Michael Foster asked what the movie was about, Bennett popped up behind them and quipped, “About an elevator!”
Heather Hemmens said she wants to “work with the girlies,” noting that she’s been friends with Erin Cahill for 17 years.
Meanwhile, Kimberley Sustad named Andrew Walker as her pick. Though they did appear in scenes together throughout the incredibly popular “Three Wise Men” trilogy, they haven’t starred opposite each other in a Hallmark movie yet.
