Summer is moving way too fast. But at least there is still plenty to watch, especially on HGTV, before the warm season completely slips away. The August 10-16 primetime lineup is packed with new episodes, familiar favorites, and enough home projects to make anyone start looking around their own house wondering what could use a little work.
There is also a nice mix throughout the week, so viewers aren’t getting the exact same type of programming every night. Some evenings are heavier on renovations, while others lean into house hunting, unusual properties, or outdoor makeovers. Yep, there is a little bit of everything here.
And let’s be real, this is also the kind of TV schedule that can turn a quick night of TV into several hours before you even realize how late it has gotten. Honestly, that is not necessarily a bad thing.
GettyWhat’s Happening This Week on HGTV
The week kicks off Monday with new episodes of “Ugliest House in America” and “Crashers,” followed by “House Hunters.” Tuesday brings new episodes of “Love It or List It,” “Extreme Buyers Club,” and “House Hunters International,” while Wednesday features “Renovation Resort Showdown” and two new episodes of “Worst Yard on the Block.”
Thursday has reruns of “Ugliest House in America” air before a night of international house hunting. Friday is especially busy, with new episodes of “My Lottery Dream Home,” “Zillow Gone Wild,” “Roast My Rental,” and “House Hunters.”
The weekend keeps the new episodes coming, with Saturday featuring even more “House Hunters” and “Zillow Gone Wild.” Then, Sunday brings new episodes of “Holmes on Homes: Building a Legacy” and “Maine Cabin Masters: All Inn,” plus another new “House Hunters” episode.
It seems like HGTV is making sure viewers have plenty of choices, even if the plan is simply to find something to have on after a long day. Yep, there is definitely no shortage of options this week.

What to Watch Before Next Week Begins
Let’s be real, summer television can sometimes feel a little hit-or-miss, but this week’s HGTV lineup keeps things moving. Whether viewers are tuning in for a specific new episode or just looking for something new to watch, there are plenty of options from Monday through Sunday. It seems like there is always another new episode waiting around the corner, which makes it pretty easy to keep watching. And honestly, if the plan is to watch just one episode, good luck with that.
