As the search for 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie continues, the FBI has increased its reward to $100,000 for anyone who can directly lead them to the beloved mom of Savannah, Annie and Camron Guthrie.

The FBI Phoenix revealed its drastically increased reward on their official X account on the evening of Thursday, Feb. 12.

FBI Increases Nancy Guthrie Reward to $100,000

“Today, the FBI is increasing its reward up to $100,000 for information leading to the location of Nancy Guthrie and/or the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance,” FBI Phoenix shared.

FBI Phoenix also stated that over 13,000 tips have been provided as the investigation rounds the corner into week 2. There is also a “24-hour command post” that is operating as leads continue to pour in.

“National Threat Operations Center (NTOC) and FBI personnel are supporting a 24-hour command post in which dozens of agents and investigators are assigned leads and tips to action each shift,” FBI Phoenix added to their statement shared on X.

The FBI previously offered a $50,000 reward for detailed information in helping to find Nancy, who was abducted from her Tucson, Arizona, home in Catalina Foothills in the middle of the night on Feb. 1.

During a previous press conference held by the Pima County Sheriff’s Department and FBI Phoenix Special Agent in Charge Heith Janke, a detailed timeline of when Nancy disappeared was revealed. It was stated that at 1:47 AM, Nancy’s Nest camera was disconnected — at 2:12 AM, despite going offline, a person was detected on the software.

FBI Release Physical Features of Nancy Guthrie Suspect

Video footage and images from a surveillance camera on Nancy’s front porch, shared by the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, showed what appears to be a male suspect as he attempts to break into her home on the night she went missing.

Details of the suspect at large are described by PBI Phoenix as a male who is approximately 5’9” – 5’10” tall, “with an average build.” They also confirmed that the suspect was wearing a black, 25-liter Ozark Trail Hiker Pack backpack, per their X account. The demographics of the suspect were identified by forensic analysis from the FBI’s Operational Technology Division, who used Nancy’s doorbell camera footage to track the abductor’s key physical features.

While evidence is minimal, on Wednesday, Feb. 11, the NYP reported that a black glove similar to the one the suspect was seen wearing in obtained footage was found in shrubbery close to Nancy’s home. The glove has since been submitted for analysis as evidence in the investigation, Page Six reported.

Earlier in the investigation, blood spatter was found on Nancy’s front porch. USA Today reported that Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos confirmed that the blood matched Nancy’s DNA.

Despite the ongoing investigation, Nancy’s heartbroken family and investigators have continued to reiterate their belief that the beloved mom is still alive.
