Hallmark’s Brennan Elliott Issues Important Warning & Passionate Plea in Candid Message

Beloved Hallmark star Brennan Elliott has issued a stern warning and a passionate plea in a candid message tackling a subject that has become all too popular: scammers and impostors. The actor has been enjoying some off-the-grid time with his son Liam and his daughter Luna, and with his late wife, Camilla Row. However, that didn’t stop him from sending another urgent reminder to fans.

Brennan Elliott’s Warning and Reminder

The “A Castle of Our Own” star took to Instagram to reiterate a message he couldn’t really believe he had to issue again. However, scammers and impostors have gotten so bad that Elliott felt the need to remind fans how to spot the real him and to warn those posing as him.

“Can’t believe I need to say this AGAIN!!!! But anyone who follows me, my ONLY social media site is this one here! This is the real me! #Brennanelliott2 I see you out there you #imposters! If I EVER wanted to start a #facebook or any other site I would post it on here first so u all would know it’s coming from the real #brennanelliott. I rarely if EVER communicate of DM or anything so if you are receiving any communication that’s not from this #instagram page it’s NOT me! Don’t give money time or response or any communication to any site unless it comes from this one! we are coming for you imposters and so is meta so be aware. If it ain’t real, you are gonna know the deal!” he wrote as his caption.

Fans were quick to jump into the comments to share their response to Elliott’s message. “I’m constantly getting notifications that brennanelliot2 with the blue checkmark is on Threads,” said a fan. Another fan added, “Thank you for saying this. I get so many requests that state this is you, but I know they aren’t you. I know who the real Brennan Elliot is lol 😀.”

Many commented that social media is filled with scammers who can easily fool fans, and that it is heartbreaking. Others felt strongly that a social media lesson needed to be taught because too many fans were falling prey to the fakes.

Elliott isn’t the only Hallmark star who has spoken out on this hot topic. Tyler Hynes has repeatedly dealt with scammers and constantly shares reminders with fans, so they know when they are dealing with impostors. Great American Family star and Hallmark alum Ryan Paevey has also spoken out on the subject and issued a stern warning to fans who become customers through his jewelry business.

It’s been five years since Hallmark released the last movie in the Crossword Mysteries franchise. Elliott played detective Logan in the movies, while Lacey Chabert played crossword editor Tess and his love interest.

Fans loved the franchise, which consisted of five movies: “A Puzzle to Die For,” “Proposing Murder,” “Abracadaver,” “Terminal Descent,” and “Riddle Me Dead.” The last one came out in 2021, and fans desperately want more.

A couple of weeks ago, Elliott addressed fans, asking whether more Crossword Mysteries movies were coming.

“Happy Sunday #brennies. Just had to give a huge THANKYOU and that I hear you all wanting more #crosswordmysteries movies. I’m sure @hallmarkchannel hears you too. I will let you all know if I hear anything, but just wanted to say that I am so glad you all enjoy this series so much and I’d love to bring the character of this guy #detectiveloganoconnor back to your screens. Here is to that maybe happening some day! But touches my heart how much you all love it and want many more,” he wrote along with a photo of him from the franchise.

There’s no question that Chabert and Elliott are both on board with making more. It all just depends on the network and their schedules.

The good news is that not all hope is lost. Hallmark has revived the Garage Sale Mystery franchise with Lori Loughlin after six years, which could mean Crossword Mysteries could be next.
