Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) has had his fair share of complicated relationships over the years, and it looks like his love life could be headed for another shakeup. While Michael is currently involved with Jacinda Bracken, Serena Baldwin’s return to Port Charles has opened the door to another potential romance. When “General Hospital” fans were asked which woman has better chemistry with Michael, many chose Jacinda. However, others weren’t interested in either option and had a very different woman in mind. ‘General Hospital’ Fans Choose Between Jacinda and Serena for Michael
As longtime “General Hospital” fans know, Michael Corinthos has had his fair share of relationships over the years. From his ex-fiancée Sasha Gilmore to Nelle Benson, the biological mother of Wiley, to his ex-wife Willow Cain and current girlfriend Jacinda Bracken, Michael’s love life has rarely been simple.
Now, another woman could potentially be entering the picture.
“GH” stars Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson recently took to their Stone Cold and the Jackal social media pages to ask viewers, “Who has the better chemistry with Michael — Jacinda or Serena?”
Judging by the responses, Jacinda appears to have the edge with many fans.
“Michael & Jacinda,” one viewer simply responded.
Another fan chose Jacinda because of her personality, writing, “Jacinda! She’s a sweet person.”
Others worried that the writers may already be preparing to end Michael and Jacinda’s relationship.
“Jacinda… but I’m guessing the storyline is already stacked against her,” one viewer predicted.
Another fan was frustrated by the direction the character has recently taken, writing, “Writers ruining another character. Team Jacinda.”
As viewers recently witnessed, Michael’s current girlfriend dropped pills into Willow’s coffee after Michael’s ex-wife and the mother of two of his children, Wiley and Amelia, served Jacinda with a restraining order requiring her to stay away from the kids.
While the storyline is still unfolding, some fans aren’t sure Michael and Jacinda will make it through this latest hurdle, especially if Willow’s impairment ultimately results in Wiley or Amelia getting hurt.
“Jacinda, but since she drugged Willow, Michael might be upset with her,” one viewer pointed out.
Another “General Hospital” fan was equally confused by the storyline, choosing Jacinda while questioning the writers’ decision to have her drug Willow.
One viewer argued that the move seemed especially out of character for the “new and improved Jacinda,” whom they had grown to like with Michael.
“I thought she and Michael had good chemistry,” the fan wrote, adding that they didn’t believe the newer version of Jacinda “would have stooped so low as to drug Willow’s drink.”
Some ‘GH’ Fans Aren’t Ready to Embrace Serena
Even with Jacinda’s latest actions creating problems for her relationship with Michael, not everyone is ready to see him move on with Serena.
“I don’t like Serena… Lucy 2.0,” one fan commented.
Another viewer made their feelings even clearer, writing, “Just NOT Serena please.”
Some “General Hospital” fans questioned whether Serena’s potential interest in Michael would even be genuine.
“Michael and Jacinda. Serena would be using Michael for his shares in Deception,” one viewer predicted.
Another agreed, writing, “Jacinda genuinely likes Michael. Serena wants the $.”
Others weren’t ready to completely write Serena off but still felt Jacinda currently had the advantage.
“Jacinda has better chemistry, but she’s a loose cannon at times. Jury is still out on Serena,” one fan commented.
One viewer even offered a completely different romantic solution for Serena, joking that Michael should stay with Jacinda while Serena goes after Jack Brennan instead.
For some “GH” fans, however, the bigger issue isn’t which woman Michael chooses. One viewer questioned what it would say about Michael if he quickly abandoned Jacinda for Serena, especially considering everything he’s been through with Willow.
“Never had much love for fickle men. If Michael can so easily turn from Jacinda to Serena, how would he be any better than Willow?” the fan asked.
Some ‘GH’ Fans Still Want Sasha Back in Port Charles
While Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson gave fans a choice between Jacinda and Serena, not everyone was willing to pick either woman.
For some longtime viewers, there’s another former love interest they would rather see back in Michael’s life.
“Neither, Sasha needs to come back!” one fan declared.
Another viewer agreed but made it clear they would only be interested in a reunion if Sasha returned with the same actress in the role.
“Only one I would change Jacinda for is Sasha and not as a recast but the same actress,” the fan wrote.
Others didn’t just want Sasha back in Michael’s life; they wanted her to return with their daughter.
“I would prefer Sasha come home with their daughter,” one viewer commented.
As longtime “General Hospital” fans will remember, Sasha became pregnant following a drunken one-night stand with her ex-fiancé, Michael. She ultimately chose to leave Port Charles shortly after giving birth to their daughter, Daisy Gilmore, in June 2025.
Not everyone thought Michael needed another romance at all. One viewer suggested Sasha or someone completely new before offering another possibility: Michael could focus on being a father to Wiley and Amelia for the time being.
Whether Michael stays with Jacinda, eventually explores something with Serena, or finds himself reunited with Sasha remains to be seen. However, judging by the fan reaction, viewers aren’t exactly ready to hand Serena the win just yet, and some clearly haven’t given up hope of seeing one of Michael’s former loves return to Port Charles.
